Fine variant SKU: ST-02-007

Fine variant EAN: 8721249435164

Product dimensions: 70 × 110 × 55 mm (L × W × H)

Product weight: 475 grams

Packaging dimensions: 146 × 134 × 60 mm (L × W × H)

Packaging material: 100% FSC-certified kraft cardboard

Drive and operation

Required drive: Drill with a chuck capable of securely clamping a round shaft

Drive shaft: 7 mm round shaft

Maximum speed: 3,500 RPM

Number of sharpening stages: 2

Two-stage sharpening process: Sharpen the blade once, move it a few millimetres and sharpen it again. This shapes the teeth from two directions, creating the sharpest possible cutting edges.

Blade compatibility

Suitable blade types: HCS, BIM and titanium-coated blades

Not suitable for: Carbide blades

Universal compatibility: Suitable for repeatedly sharpening oscillating multi-tool blades from a wide range of brands.

Hardened teeth: Some blade manufacturers use specially hardened teeth. After more than three sharpening cycles, the hardened surface may gradually wear away, which can cause the teeth to become blunt more quickly. This depends on the blade brand and construction.

Variant applications

Coarse variant: For rougher work with softer materials, including wood, plasterboard and PVC.

Fine variant: For harder materials, including copper, aluminium profiles and various hardwoods, providing a precise result.

Lifespan and warranty

Grinding head lifespan: At least 400 sharpening cycles

Replaceable grinding head: Yes, available as a SharpTool 2.0 Refill

Warranty: 2 years

Blade sharpening tool that customers said "works really well" and delivers "superb results." Most shoppers report it quickly restores multitool blades to near-new sharpness, saving money. Some concerns about refill durability after 10-20 uses versus advertised 400, and coarse teeth unsuitable for fine work. Positive customer service responses noted.

You can sharp different profiles or create Your own profile. Very handy, less than minute and You are ready to go again! Since starlock cost fortune(at least 7€/pcs), it pays off quickly and most important: it is with You, but new blade isn’t.(Many of us have used 4-5 blades in a row)

I've been using the SharpTool 2.0 on site for a while now, and it's a cracking bit of kit. It puts a good edge back on my multitool blades in no time and has saved me replacing blades as often, which soon adds up.

It's well made, easy to use, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it's definitely paid for itself already. If you use a multitool regularly, I'd recommend getting one.

I bought this prodoct but it works only with wood/plastic blades. With iron/wood blades it is ruined permanently.

Aanrader

Fantastic tool nice and compact , hit a nail or just a dull blade 10 seconds on this and your back in business without shedding out for a new blade.

Best thing I’ve bought in a while

Since buying this I haven’t changed my blade, just give it a quick sharpen, takes seconds and it’s like brand new, blades still cut just as good as a new blade, honestly one of the best things I’ve bought.

Thank you for your fantastic review barry! We’re really glad to hear the SharpTool 2.0 saves your blades and works just like you hoped.

Perfect
